ABOUT US
The purpose of SOCCO: To offer an environment for Christian families who are exclusively educating their children at home, independent of government and public programs, from a Biblical worldview in the south end of Orange county California.
SOCCO Support: Members support one another on a private, username and password protected online site, hosted by MyFamily.com. This web-site has been operational since 2004 and is our main form of support, where site-users can offer each other encouragement, affirmation and celebration of Christ centered home education.
Posting on SOCCO's private website: All postings on the SOCCO MyFamily.com website should be kept in accordance with the purpose of the group. Furthermore:
- Members (site-users) post all things related to Biblical home education including: questions, mentoring, concerns, prayer requests, resources, local happenings, homeschool seminars, and anything that is honoring to our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Since the site is for local families only, site-users can also offer each other various opportunities to get together including: park dates, moms meetings, in-home clubs, classes, co-ops, yearbook committee, field trips, group events, or anything that edifies all the families members (moms, dads and students)!
- Members of SOCCO are site-users of our private site, and must adhere to all rules, guidelines, and statement of faith included in their signed membership forms
- Administrators and moderators retain the right to delete a post as deemed necessary, for the protection of the other members
